Onward80 Low-Carbon Alliance Showcase Launches Successfully

Jiin Ming – From Precision Metal Stamping to a Sustainable Future Across Industries

Amidst the accelerating global shift toward sustainable development, Jiin Ming has proactively embraced the necessity of low-carbon transformation. Recognizing that carbon reduction is not only an environmental imperative but also a strategic move to enhance industrial competitiveness, the company has positioned sustainability as both a business opportunity and a responsibility.

However, challenges such as limited awareness and a shortage of ESG-literate professionals remain critical barriers. To address this, Jiin Ming has set clear goals to foster a corporate ESG culture and cultivate low-carbon talent. Through strategic alignment and phased training programs, sustainability awareness is being embedded across departments, laying the groundwork for a solid and forward-looking transformation.

Transitioning into the New Energy Sector

In alignment with the global decarbonization trend and Taiwan’s energy policy—“Expand Green Energy, Increase Natural Gas, Reduce Coal, and Go Nuclear-Free”—Jiin Ming foresees rapid growth in solar power and energy storage markets. Starting in 2026, the company aims to add at least 2 GW of new energy storage capacity and 100 MW of solar capacity annually.

This strategic move responds to market drivers such as corporate electricity regulations, RE100 goals, and ESG demands from business clients—particularly the increasing need for 100+ MW-scale energy storage solutions. By integrating group-wide resources and aligning with experienced EMS providers, power equipment manufacturers, and battery suppliers, Jiin Ming is advancing a comprehensive green energy transformation, with full participation in energy storage system construction and operations.

Leveraging Resources for Sustainable Knowledge

Sustainability transformation requires companies to stay on top of emerging knowledge, technologies, and rapidly evolving international and local regulations. To accelerate access to critical insights and industry connections, Jiin Ming actively participates in LCIA sustainability workshops and engages in cross-sector knowledge integration. These efforts help strengthen upstream and downstream collaboration, increase supply chain carbon disclosure readiness, and provide real-world experience for low-carbon transformation.

Building a Sustainable Supply Chain

A sustainable value chain depends on collaborative supply chain partnerships. Jiin Ming supports both its traditional metal-stamping customers and its own child-focused lifestyle brand VIIDA by initiating carbon footprint training across the supply chain. By sharing low-carbon practices from various client brands, the company helps partners adopt similar sustainable approaches—fostering a broader industry transformation.

Tangible Results Begin to Emerge

“Our ESG performance, evaluated earlier this year by 104 Corp’s enterprise health check, outperformed industry peers. This reflects the tangible progress from our sustainability efforts,” said the General Manager of Jiin Ming. “Our low-carbon business model has noticeably boosted our market competitiveness and differentiated us in the global marketplace—paving the way for new overseas business opportunities.”

The Low-Carbon Transition Forum, held as part of the showcase event, brought together experts from government, academia, and industry to share valuable insights, practical experiences, and actionable strategies for sustainable transformation.
